Wellness Fair descriptions/bios-  This will be great to share with your students prior to the event so they know what they will be learning.

PTA socials this week-
Please join the PTA on Tuesday, April 2nd at 7:30pm at Lola's on Glenwood or on Wednesday April 3rd at 9:00 in our media center.  Come enjoy a few hours out and meet your fellow Unicorns!!

Most of our PTA positions for next year are thankfully already filled with a few exceptions so come and enjoy a low key night or morning coffee with us!!

If you are interested in becoming more involved with PTA and would like to know what positions still need to be filled, please email me at alexvansta@yahoo.com.

NC Partnership for Child Nutrition (NCPCN) is a newly formed parent lead non-profit focused on supporting school nutrition efforts in Wake County and beyond.  They are having a kick-off event and fundraiser at the Umstead Hotel on April 8th at noon. The event will feature several area chefs.  Come out to meet the board, support this initiative, learn more about the organization's vision. Website with information on NCPCN and the event can be found here:  ncpcn.org

Panorama Survey-
Last week, you should have received an email from the "Panorama Education Team."  This email contains a family survey to learn more about you and your child's experience at Underwood.  If you have children at multiple schools, the link will allow you to take surveys for each school. As a school, we utilize this information to ensure we are creating a great experience for all of our families.  The survey should take about 15 minutes. If you need a paper form or did not receive the email, please reach out to Alexandria Judge-Lenkeit (ajudge-lenkeit@wcpss.net or 919-856-7663). If you missed the email, the Panorama team will continue to send an email weekly.

ArtsPleasure
Recap -- “Oh the Places You Will Go!”, our Artspleasure theme, was a tremendous success!  Thank you to our Specialist Team, Daniel Levin, Julia Mastropaolo, Laura Urben, staff and parents for donating their talents and time to make this event such a success.  Watching students perform and share their gifts and talents was a great reminder as to how fortunate we are to be part of the GT Magnet Model. Underwood truly is #smallschoolBIGtalent

Quarter 4 Electives began on Monday, March 25th.  Be sure to ask your child about their new electives and future learning opportunities that support their gifts and talents!
