Visitors -- On Thursday afternoon, Mark Johnson (State Superintendent) and Dr. Burns (WCPSS Interim Superintendent) visited Underwood Elementary to share with teachers the importance of the Teacher Working Condition Survey. It was also great for them to see our wonderful school and all of our hard work that our students exhibit on a daily basis.
Grounds Day --- Hoping you can join us for Saturday's Grounds Day. We will be working from March 2nd 8:30-12 if you are available for any part of the morning. Our focus is spreading mulch on the playground and painting playground stencils on the sidewalk. If you have a wheelbarrow, rake, shovel....bring it too!
Severe Weather Drill - We will part in the Statewide Tornado Drill scheduled for Wednesday, March 7, at 9:30 AM EST. Board Policy 2312 R&P states that all schools must complete the severe weather drill annually.
Foundation Gala - Please Don't Forget - When You Give Our Children Get!
