We need your help!  Bring the whole family out to Underwood on Saturday, October 14th from 8:30am-12pm to help with our first Grounds Day of the year!  Together we will tackle small projects to spruce up our campus (picking up trash/debris, pulling weeds, trimming limbs, etc)

Critical Thinking

MDA Lock-up - On September 27th, Mr. Shillings will be "locked up". Every day, kids and adults are diagnosed with muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases that take away the most basic freedoms – the freedom to walk, talk, hug and even breathe. If you are willing to donate - click click on to donate

Creativity

Collaboration

Volunteer Registration - Are you planning on attending a field trip, volunteering during Unicorn Trot/other school events this year, or planning to volunteer in the classroom? Reminder for parents and family members to sign up to be a volunteer through the WCPSS volunteer registration every year. This has to be done in a Wake County School. Please see a staff member at the front desk or in the media center to assist you.

Girls on the Run (GTR) - Informational flyer for grades 3-5 -- 98% of parents/guardians believe that participating in GOTR was a valuable and enjoyable experience for their GOTR girl. “The curriculum was incredible. It was thoughts, lessons, and social interaction around ideas of self, self-talk, positive thinking, health, acceptance, etc! Great stuff.” - GOTR Parent, 2017 WWW.GOTRTRIANGLE.ORG

Critical Thinking

PRIDE ---Teachers have worked with their classroom family to review and discuss the PRIDE expectations.
P - Practice Self Control
R - Responsibility is the key
I - Identify Safe Choices
D - Demonstrate Respect
E - Excel in School

It is expected that students are showing PRIDE in all settings.  If they are not, it is our job as teachers to remind them and reteach the expectations in order to provide a safe learning environment for all students.

Creativity
