Week of March 28 - April 1

 Families,

I hope your week is off to a great start! Today we will start the fourth quarter of 2021-2022 school year! It has been a great year and let’s make sure we finish the school year strong! Below are some updates for this school week. 

Health Guidance: 

At the beginning of March, the WCPSS school board removed the mask mandate and removed many of the health procedures from elementary schools. The past few weeks, Underwood has provided opportunities for students to interact more often at recess. In the next week, more students will be eating in the cafeteria at a given time. We have seen high success with our structures and would like to increase students' socialization during the lunch time. 

EOG Dates:

The state of North Carolina requires end of grade and end of course starting in third grade. Below are the dates and grade levels.
