Arts Pleasure March 23 and March 24:

SSA (Single Subject Acceleration) 

Single Subject Acceleration (SSA) is the practice of placing a student in a higher-grade level in one subject area. This type of acceleration is for the purpose of providing access to appropriately challenging learning opportunities in either math OR English Language Arts.  For information about nomination and testing for SSA at Underwood, please attend a virtual meeting with AIG teachers, Jen Page & Heather Callahan, on Monday, March 14, 11:45-12:15pm (link: meet.google.com/tiy-eyen-ews)  OR Wednesday, March 16, 8:00-8:30am (https://meet.google.com/iqh-pzsx-tbv?hs=224) .

Supportive At Home Resources: The student teachers from NC State University have provided additional resources to help support the curriculum at home. Some resources students may be familiar with, and others may be new so feel free to try them with your students at home.
