Underwood Gifted and Talented Elementary’s Magnet application earned us a 2022 Magnet School of Distinction Award. Our school will be recognized and receive the National Magnet School of Distinction Award during an awards ceremony held at Magnet Schools of America’s 39th National Conference. 

Curriculum and Instruction: Students should have received their second quarter reports cards last week. This month they will also receive their mClass universal mid-year Reading results, and 3-5 Star Math. Please contact your child’s teacher for additional information or have a parent conference. Classroom teachers will be providing an opportunity for a conference this quarter.

• February 21 - Vacation Day (No School) 

• February 22 - Twin Day - tennis shoes, ties, tutus
