There are two sites I suggest that you take a look at and bookmark if you are looking for ways to support your students with their homework and classroom lessons and curriculum -- Homework Resources and Parent Resource Center. These are updated by WCPSS curriculum and instruction department.
First Friday Spirit Day
This year we are having spirit days the first Friday of the month, this month we had Picture Day, so we didn’t think a Spirit Day would be the best idea. This Friday is: Favorite Football Shirt Day
Reminders:
October 17th - Unicorn Trot Students’ Kickoff
October 18th: Favorite Football Shirt Day
October 24th - Parent Party kickoff for Unicorn Trot
October 25th - Unicorn Trot
October 31st - End of first Quarter and Weather Makeup day
November 1st - Teacher Workday (no school for students)
November 4th - 6th - 3rd Grade Cog-Ats
