September 25

Communication -

School Family PicnicWe are excited about seeing our families at School Family Picnic on Thursday night. You can pack a dinner or purchase food from one of the three food trucks (along with Kona Ice) that will be on site on Thursday the 28th from 5:30-7:00. We will have Peace rock painting, inflatables and other fun things to do with your Underwood family!

Interims will be going home on Tuesday, September 26th.  Please contact your child's teacher with any concerns.

Stay connected!  Join the Underwood PTA facebook page as well as the Underwood Foundation facebook page to stay informed with the latest Underwood happenings.

Collaboration

We need your help!  Bring the whole family out to Underwood on Saturday, October 14th from 8:30am-12pm to help with our first Grounds Day of the year!  Together we will tackle small projects to spruce up our campus (picking up trash/debris, pulling weeds, trimming limbs, etc)

Critical Thinking

MDA Lock-up - On September 27th, Mr. Shillings will be "locked up". Every day, kids and adults are diagnosed with muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases that take away the most basic freedoms – the freedom to walk, talk, hug and even breathe. Creativity

Let's celebrate!  Our United Arts Council Grant was fully funded.  This allows us to provide multiple opportunities to invite artists to perform for our students and showcase the arts.  Thank you to Laura Urben and Julia Mastropaolo for all of their efforts in leading our Cultural Arts efforts!
